Well, after 9 months (and a few extra days), Harper Patricia York has finally arrived. After going past my due date and scheduling an induction for March 10th, Harper decided to be a contrarian and show up on March 8th (much to her parents' surprise). I went into labor while watching the Oscar red carpet shows Sunday evening and Jason and I headed into the hospital around 11pm. We stayed the night at the hospital and spent the day in labor and delivery until Harper decided to show up at 3:47pm. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz (much to her mothers relief) and measured 20 inches long.
Sorry for taking so long to post these pictures -- it's been exhausting couple of weeks :)
