Exer-Saucer Fun

Harper's teachers constantly tell me how strong and well developed Harper is for a baby of her age. When I went to pick her up on Friday, they mentioned that she had spent some time in the exer-saucer (i.e., an activity station for kiddos) and really enjoyed it. The exer-saucer we have at home says that it is for babies 6 months and older, but Ms. Nicole (the lead teacher in Harper's room) said that Harper could probably play at it for a 5-10 minute session. Well, we tried it this weekend and Harper really liked it, especially the buttons that made animal noises and played songs when pushed.

Notice how she still has a bit to grow before her feet touch the floor.

Having fun pushing the buttons -- so much fun that she's drooling a little bit :)

Also, this weekend Harper reached out and grabbed one of her toys (a set of plastic keys) and lifted it up. Before this she'd held onto a rattle or other toy that Jason and I touched to her fingers, but she'd never actually grabbed something on her own. Go Harper!
